Making A List is a fantasy art limited edition ornament from the Saturday Night Evening Post collection by Ne'Qwa Art. The original art, by Norman Rockwell, features Santa in his red long johns sitting on the top of a ladder in front of a map of the world plotting his itinerary for his Christmas eve deliveries. The artists at Ne'Qwa have reproduced the Christmas art by reverse hand painting it on the inside of this mouth blown glass ornament that measures 6.75 inches tall, is in the princess shape and comes beautifully packaged in a hand crafted, satin lined, leather presentation case. The gift box includes the Certificate of Authenticity and is also enclosed in the Ne'Qwa Art signature protective box.
NeQwa Art is the largest producer of the centuries old tradition of painting on the inside of glass. The same meticulous techniques that captivated emperors and art connoisseurs ages ago are used to create each of their decorative accessories. From outlining to shading to color application, all work is painstakingly done in freehand. Known in the Mandarin language as Ne'Qwa, the artistic tradition of reverse painting on the inside of glass flourished during the 17th century, when snuff bottles were valued fashion accessories in China.
